About Individual Banking

Individual banking is a process for collecting and updating banking information from individuals, including postdoctoral fellowship recipients, honorary award recipients, invitational travelers, and Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) program staff.  You should not enter banking information in Research.gov if you are an individual who does not have a U.S. bank account, you are a reviewer, or you are a panelist. If you do not have a U.S. bank account, please send an email to itrkinqry@nsf.gov with "Individual Banking" in the subject line to discuss your situation.

Important Note for all IPA Assignees Using the Individual Banking Module in Research.gov

When using the Individual Banking module in Research.gov, all users are asked to also enter address information as part of the form.  However, when and IPA user enters any address updates along with their banking information, NSF systems will only receive the updated banking information on this form, not any address updates.  IPAs must continue to work with their Administrative Officer and Human Resource Business Partner to update their address in the IPA Connector system.  Please inform your Administrative Officer and HR Representative of any address updates entered in the Individual Banking module of Research.gov so that they can be added to the IPA Connector.

Additional Individual Banking questions may be directed to the NSF IT Help Desk at 1-800-381-1532 or rgov@nsf.gov.
